Cost: $99

Location: Community Room, Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor, 125 Townsend Ave, Boothbay Harbor, Maine

Back discomfort can make it harder to stay active and continue participating in the activities that matter to you. You might worry that moving more or moving the wrong way will make your symptoms worse.

This five-week series is designed to help you move with greater comfort and confidence. Classes include joint-friendly yoga and mobility drills, breathing practices, relaxation, simple meditations, and brief educational topics. We'll also explore how stress and daily habits can affect how our backs feel. By the end of the series, you'll have practical, personalized strategies you can continue using at home and in everyday life.

Enrollment for small-group yoga therapy is limited to eight participants, allowing for individualized guidance and adaptation. Before the series begins, I’ll send you a written intake to complete (about 20–30 minutes), and we’ll have a brief call. What you choose to share about your goals, relevant health history, and concerns will help me individualize the series for you and the group.

Yoga for the Challenges of the Holiday Season

Date: October 27th, 2026

Time: 6-8 PM

Cost: $55

Location: Boothbay Region High School
236 Townsend Ave, Boothbay Harbor, Maine

The holidays can be a lot. Along with joy and connection, the season can also bring grief, loneliness, family tensions, unmet expectations, and a never-ending to-do list that pulls us in every direction.

In this two-hour workshop, we'll explore how yoga can help us move through the holiday season with greater steadiness, ease, and self-compassion. Together, we'll use joint-friendly movement, simple breathing practices, guided meditation, and a little yoga wisdom to reflect on boundaries, expectations, and what helps sustain us through the season.

Workshops for Groups & Organizations

I offer sessions for community groups, clubs, and workplaces. Workshops can combine a short talk with guided practice and are adapted to the interests and needs of your group, with options so everyone can participate comfortably. Topics might include yoga for office workers, gardeners, or caregivers; better sleep; a more resilient back; posture and “text neck”; and more. We can talk about what would be most useful for your group and plan from there.
